Hello again. I was wondering if anyone knew of medieval knife fighting techniques, manuals, etc. I know that Maier taught some, in addition to some really interesting weapons. Trouble is, I can't get I.33 online. Anywhere else? Thanks. And any other information, of course.

Check out this book by respected ARMA member Jay Vail...
http://www.amazon.com/Medieval-Renaissance-Da...amp;sr=1-1

I happen to know Jay pretty well, as we both train at the same karate school, and he is one of the better medieval-styled fighters I've seen. The man does everything- WMA, JSA, karate... but his area of expertise is dagger combat.

This book is well worth a read. Speaking of that, I really need to get my own copy! ;D I've read it before, borrowing a copy, but I don't have one myself... Thanks for reminding me.

Hope this helps!

Sincerely,
Brogdon Combs

When talking about dagger, there is no way around Fiore:
