Howdy !
I am reconstructing a crossbow quiver seen on a wooden sculpture in the Bayreisches National Museum.
It has a angry face painted beneath the opening. Problem is that I have only one bad photo of this (see attchement) and it is hard to see the features of the face. Is there any out here in possession of a better picture ? I would be most happy to see it.
thanks

HI Stefan,
I have taken some pics from the statue some time ago, then concentrating on the clothing and not the quiver. Maybe you can use them nevertheless. Both are unfortunately not the best in quality due to a cheap camera and the diffuse light in the Bay. Nationalmuseum.
The next time I´m in Munich, I´ll take some better pictures.
Cheers,
Tomasz

Hi,
that quiver is really funny, as funny maybe as seeing a statue of Mister Bean dressed as an archer
