Shields by Medieval Reproductions.
Recently Peter Fuller sent me a few photographs of two shields he's just completed. These are replicas of shields used by Edward, the Black Prince, both his royal war shield and shield of peace. Peter has had some medical issues over the last year that have prevented him from working with steel and its associated heavy equipment so he's been concentrating on projects like this. Here's a link complete with prices. As you can see the price is considerable, but so is the detail. We don't often see this kind of attention to detail on something like a shield and I think it's an interesting aspect of the hobby.

Thanks for the heads up Patrick.

Absolutely beautiful work, the black shield emblazoned with Edward's motto and badge is exquisite.
