Hello,
i have a very large and heavy viking helm for sale or trade. It is used, it has no dents or chips or bends, but it does have surface rust as seen in the photos. This is a combat grade (SCA) helm, hand forged from 15 gauge carbon steel with brass accents, inside diameter is 8 3/4", weighs 6-8 lbs. The side pieces are lined with leather and it does have a leather chin strap, there is no padding. I am looking for a best offer on this, i will also trade for a smaller helm (even an 18 gauge deco model). By the way, this was hand forged in the USA, it is not an import.
