Can anyone recommend a good place to buy an SCA legal helm at a mid range price? They range anywhere from 100$ up to 1500$ and up. Im looking for a decent one in the 300 - 500$ price range.

I have joined my local SCA group and the loaner helms dont fit me very well so I am looking to get one of my own.

I think Im leaning towards a 14th century Bascinet style helm.

This one looks decent but buying on the internet is pretty tricky.

Knotwolf Armory has tons of interesting helmets, and he obviously puts a lot of effort into balancing history and the safety requirements of heavy combat.
