WOW! THAT is stunning!
I second that, Gregg......This is truly some examples of master craftsmanship. Absolutely gorgeous!...McM
Great work Piotr! I have always admired your work, and would only purchase pieces from you, given I had the proper funds! The gold is certainly a regal touch! I hope that you are given the opportunity to make a kastenbrust breastplate some day, as I would love to see a reproduction made with your level of mastery. Perhaps someday it will be me that commissions it!

Jon

Thank you very much Gregg, Mark and Jon for kind words.

Jon I would very like to make a kastenbrust breastplate or whole cuirass and even better whole armour in that style, that would be very interesting experience. Kastenbrust armour were also very popular in late medieval Poland.
It’s time for some changes. I decided to make a new armourer mark, which consist of my initials. I have been using old mark since 2008 and it become little outdated, that’s why for long time I have been thinking to replace it. So here it is:

Looks awesome man, your work is top notch!
Just curious, on the bascinet, what is the little cap at the top of the skull for?
Thank you very much Ryan. I think that the little cap is reamins from feather crest, exactly the base of it, maybe in similar construction like one which I made for Churburg CH 16 bascinet: http://www.platener.eu/hundsgugel_RT11.html and http://www.platener.eu/hundsgugel_RT12.html
Ahhhhhh, cool, makes sense. Thanks!
