Online Hundred Years War Database.
Some researchers from the UK have posted english medieval service records online, and they can be accessed from the bottom address. But don't take my word for it, click on the first link to get a better summary.

The story from the BBC.

And the link to the website in question.

Hopefully this heads up will be of interest to some. =)

Thanks for the heads up on this. I did just a quick search by surname and came up with 2 matches.
Found a William Goodwyn (yes spelled differently back then, but I have records of my great g-father's surname being spelled the same) an archer under Capt. John Cornwall 1417, expedited to France.

Excellent find!

cheers,

Bill
Awesome find! I will have to crawl through there sometime. Sadly, nothing shows up for my surname :p

Thanks for posting...Horton is a common English name I see!!

Interesting. No much chance of finding my surname. Not many Egyptians in Medieval England! :D

I tried my wife's maiden name and was swamped. Parker was a very common name in those days, including several at Agincourt!
