First completed knife
Hi

I posted a seax blade a while ago, thats sadly still WIP due to issues with the fittings :( but I hope to fix it and post it soon.

Here is something I have forged since, just for a bit more practice.

It's not brilliant to look at, but on the plus side the antler really sits nicely in the hand and by some freak twist of fate the balance has worked out very nicely and feels really (dare i say it) 'alive'

My friends think it looks Mongolian ?

I would welcome any thoughts /feedback.

Thanks

Matt

Looks good. Personally I would prefer either no plunge cut, or that the plunge line up with the bolster. From the last photo it looks like the plunge & the bolster are not parallel (could just be the photo, though).

Good work!
No you are dead right, bothers me also, all part of the learnin curve , I'll get it right next time ;)
