Talhoffer Buckler
Hello,

Greg Wosnak, a very talented armorer and friend of mine, has made me a buckler designed after those in Talhoffer 1467. Here are some of the pictures he took as he made the piece:

I am very pleased and thrilled to have such an exciting tool for my sword and buckler practice. Greg is an amazingly talented artist and deserves to be more widely known than he is.

That, good sir, is a sweet looking buckler! :D
Envy! Unfortunately, your flicker is private and I cannot view it.

I wonder if he would make two for me? It certainly has "the cool factor ".
That sure looks very nice!!!
V nice! I've been training for a bit with a similar buckler from Mark Vickers (thicker than picture). The boss of your looks much more like the drawings. I find the scalloped bits great for bracing your sword against in defence, especially when guarding your shins against heavy pole arms. Hope you have as much fun as I'm having!
