Hi,

Really hard to tell without better pictures with more details of the blade and hilt on the "katana". Really need to see more angles as well on the guard. Measurements would help as well.

From the two pics looks like a chinese reproduction with a reproduction leather field/combat cover on the scabbard. The hilt and tsuba just look wrong. Why do you say it is untouched? If it is a WWII piece it certainly doesn't look regulation to me. Where did you pick it up? You see a lot of cheap chinese repos on e-bay these days.

Again, its impossible to say with the very limited info provided. Please post more details if you can.
