Wanted: 13th century tent
Greetings,

I'm in desperate need of an large 13th century tent (which could house 6 tot 10 people including gear) for my group. Would anyone know a good yet affordable tentmaker/store in Europe?

Thanks,

Youval
Past tents has a great reputation for making very high quality tents. I have been using a couple of their pavilions and they are really great. A bit pricey but in the long run probably worth it.

I have friends that ordered tents from

http://www.tentorium.pl/main.php?lg=en

And they are generally quite happy with them as well. Although the quality is not quite up to past tents, the price is a bit lower.

I know there are several polish producers of tents, and I remember offerings from a Hungarian dealer as well. I do not have the link at the moment but when I do I'll post it.

Hope it helps!
Thanks a lot!

It seems, though, that Tentorium is the more expensive one here. Maybe he raised his prices?
Oh, I have not been looking at the prices for a while...have you kept in mind that the past tent prices are in GBP and the tentorium prices is in EUR? The exchangerate might be a factor.

Also noticable is that the tentorium tents are made of linen rather than cotton canvas which has its benefits and drawbacks at the same time.

That said, my experience with past tents are from tents purchased almost a decade ago (and somewhat faded but still very much functional) Maybe someone has had more recent purchases from them and like to share?

Edit: Found a link to another eastern european tent-maker:
