Has anyone handled this weapon ? If so how is it?
Any complaints on their line at all actually?
And they claim it as a good representation of a proper 16th cen Lowland scots greatsword but Ive never run across anything close to it. Is it indeed correct for that time and place ?

examined one at Sacrborough Faire last couple of wkends. little heavy in the blade, but no where as blade heavy as some of the Zwiehanders/Great Swords of say MRL or couple of other manufacturers. wish i had bought a Lutel B4 the tighter security measures drove up price on shipping. ben looking for a Twahandet Sword for some time but i don't like the flamberge blade of the current ones. wanted the parrying hook but... i may spring for the Lowlaner yet before the end of the Faire. handles good and doesn't overswing on me like a heavier swords been thinking of ways to lighten the blade but beyond cutting the fuller longer or draw file the blade to reduce the thiknes can't come up w/ anything. don't know if either would be feasible anyay, BUT it is talking to me strong.

I 've been interested in this sword for a while now, but as usual, I'm scared of what may be under that long grip. Anyone have an idea of what kinda tang we're talking about on this model? A rat-tail would be an invitation to disaster on a blade that size. Tang photos anyone???

I seriously doubt that Hanwei would use a rat tail tang on their lowlander considering they don't use rat tail tangs on their other models.
Constant and true.
