This knife measures overall 18 inches long and has a maker stamp on ricasso I'm not familiar with. Anyone have any ideas as to who and when on production of this knife?

Hi Jeff

Nice piece. I do not know the maker, but I could venture a guess as to origin. The form and style look to be a Sheffield style piece from England. MAybe late 1800's or early 1900's. The mark on the lower edge of the pommel maybe a silver mark which would support that. These where quite popular and this looks to be a very nice example.

I will look through some of my notes and see if anything comes up.

Best
Craig

No idea where it's from, but that's a pretty piece.
