Oakeshott Type: XIIa
Overall Length: 39 inches
Blade Length: 31-3/16 inches
Blade width @ Base: 2 inches
Blade Width 4 inches from point: 1-1/4 inch
Blade Thickness @ Base: .205 inch
Blade Thickness 2 inches from Point: .090 inch
Hilt Overall Length: 7-5/16 inches
Length of Handle: 5-1/2 inches
Guard Type: 1
Pommel Type: i
Center of Gravity: 4-5/8 inches from guard
Location of Blade Node (measured from Guard): 19-3/8 inches
Primary Hilt Node: on handle approx. 1/2 from cross.
Weight: 2lbs 12 oz
Made for a customer. Blade is differentially-tempered 5160 spring steel. Handle furniture is mild steel, handle is sandwiched hardwood wrapped in fine linen cord and covered with leather. Hilt is of take-down type. Handling is very nice! Feels like it weighs closer to 2lbs than 2lbs-12oz.
