Medieval Georgian Arms and Armour
Hi everyone. New to the forums and this wonderful site. I did a search on the forums and couldn't find anything so I thought I'd start a new topic. Do you guys have any sources for the arms and armour that medieval Georgia used? I'm looking at around the 11th-13th centuries for the most part but any information at all would be appreciated. Thank you :)
Check Nicolle's Arms & Armour of the Crusading Era, 1050-1350: Islam, Eastern Europe and Asia
It has a chapter on Georgian arms. Nicolle has some controversial theories, but the line drawings of artifacts and artwork can be a very valuable resource.
Hope this helps,
Dan
Ah thank you so much. Definitely gonna check this out on amazon....I doubt I'd be able to find a copy for sale in Australia :)

this is a link to the forum of computer game developers, discussing georgian medieval costume. Russian language and most illustrations are poor, but some are interesting
