Chain mail Makers
Anyone out there know of an artisan who makes proper, period riveted chain mail?
Erik D. Schmid is probably the best out there.....but he is quite pricy.
Hope this helps,
Dan

Best source? *Only* source so far as I know, at least for truly period authentic stuff. And really not that pricey, when you consider what you're getting for your money.
Many, many thanks. I'll check him out.
I found this pdf in internet: I think it's a very realistic coif, hope it help!

Erik D. Schmid price are very high, but right for the type of work he does. If you don't want to spend so much you have to choose a mass-produced mail, or do it yourself (like I do).
Oh how I wish I could own one of his hauberks D:

Maybe some day in the far flung future, eh?
