Hello, fellows...........Been offline for a while due to a really badass computer virus. I happened on this thread simply because it involves two of my favorite things.....sword-talk and drinking..........or 'drankin' , as we call it in Texas. Just a tidbit of info for y'all...........Try putting a whole clove in your next bottle of scotch. Drop it in, cap it and let it sit. I find that the clove adds a bit of pungent spice to an already good drink.....and even tends to mellow even a lesser quality bottle. If you just want to try it as an experiment, buy a halfpint and drop the clove. Then leave it overnight. I think most all scotch drinkers will find that the clove blends perfecly with the natural flavor of the whiskey. Just food for thought............try it!

Found Optima at the liquor board: bought it, drank it, almost finished it (The bottle) in 2 days. Very Very good !

This could become a habit !
