For $1500 there's not many production or semi-pro things I'd get, since if I had that money to spend I'd just go custom. Or, maybe, get an Atrim with a custom grip and scabbard by Mr. Fletcher, since that's the next thing I might be haphazardly saving up for.

That said, the Town Guard sword that A&A makes is really cool, or maybe I'd just get a nice dagger and put the rest of the money in the bank. Speaking of daggers, I just got a dagger-sized box delivered to my office this morning at work... from Mississippi apparently... so I guess that counts as my Christmas present?

Another choice for me is the ATrim Makers Mark triple fullered type XIII over at Christian Fletcher's. Then get CF to make a fancier hilt with a type "K" pommel, plus a first class scabberd.

I'd have to say an Albion Maximilian.

I ordered that one from their 20% off sale, except mine has a plum and half-wire grip. After they finish it, it goes to Christian Fletcher for a scabbard and etching. You'll love it when I get it...probably in March or later. ;-)
