For Sale: Early Del Tin Oakeshott Type X
This listing is marked SOLD and is no longer available

I aquired this piece a couple weeks ago. There is nothing wrong with it, however, I am trying to put some beans back for a bastard sword more in tune with my studies of Fiore with the Schola St. George.

This is an earlier model Del Tin that was distributed through Museum Replicas between 1992 and 1993. It was manufactured on a custom level for a US customer. This piece was made when Del Tin was still using Krupps, so its a wonderfully solid sword, unique to alot of other DTs currently out there.

The pictures do not do this piece justice. The guard and pommel have a nice grey silver patina and the blade is nice and clean with no blemishes, rust, or pitting. The wire grip is nice and tight with no spaces or movement. There are some very small dings on the cross from being stored with other swords, but no other issues. You will love this unique Type X.

Here are the specs:

Typology: Type X with a dished Type I pommel and Style 3 Guard.
Material: German Krupps Steel (specific unknown)
Overall Length: 38.50"
Blade Length: 32.00"
Blade Width @ Cross: 1.75"
Tang: Full Peened
PoB: 4.0"
CoP: 22" (approximate)
Cross Length: 8.25"
Pommel Width: 2.25"
Pommel Thickness: 1.50"
Overall Weight: (I don't have scales, but I would estimate just over 2lbs)

I am asking $225.00 insured and shipped anywhere in the CONUS, Paypal for payment. Write me a PM here or email me at jesarge@gmail.com.
