Greeting folks,
Now that I have committed to dedicate my time to the workshop, I’d like to announce to the members of myArmoury that I have decided to go into business as a custom maker reproducing medieval weapons and other items. My main focus at this stage is on knives and polearms, particularly from the 15th century, but I’m open to making all kinds of things. Metalwork (blacksmithing and silversmithing) is my specialty but I have experience with wood and leather work which helps when mounting and sheathing blades. I’d also like to mention that I am more than happy to make those small metal parts for DIY projects such as chapes, bare blades, buckles etc, that many people don’t have the equipment for.
Examples of some of my recent work can be found in my gallery at:

If you're interested in commissioning a piece or if you have any questions, please feel free to PM me or contact me via the email link on my web gallery.
Thanks for looking,
Darren Austin

Thanks guys.
Just a quick note, if any of you tried to contact me using the link on my website and had no luck, please try again. There was a problem with it linking to a non existent mac.com address, not the correct me.com one. This has now been rectified.
Darren Austin.
