To balance the worst king poll, here is one for the best monarch of England. I have limited it to between 1066 and 1700, which would leave out Alfred the Great, and, everyone's favorite, William IV.
My choice - Henry II, who brought the country out of a destructive civil war, created the Angevin Empire, and managed to rule it all quite well.
Elizabeth is the obvious choice, and should get a lot of votes.
I left out Richard III, because, even though he was quite able, he didn't rule long enough, and Henry VII - an efficiant king, but I have a strong dislike for him.

I voted for Henry V because he almost secured Englands dream of "English France".
So close Henry...
