Mark Vickers Boar Sword
Hi All:

Mark Vickers just completed a reproduction of a Boar Sword for the Historic Royal Palaces.

The original was one of 8 hunting swords given to Henry VIII by the Emporer Maximillian as a gift on his acsession to the throne 1508.

Excellent work as always from Mark. This is a rarely reproduced for of sword and it looks like Mark did an amazing job on this one. It comes in just under 4lbs.
Ironic as it is, I was just looking at this very original and thinking I wanted to have it reproduced. Very nice to see one made!!
