For Sale, a leaf blade longsword made by Rick Barrett. I bought the sword from him in 2004. The sword is in new condition and has been kept safe is a gun case (in scabbard) for the last year. Before that it was on a wall mounted sword rack (also in scabbard).
The scabbard is wood wrapped in leather. The inner lining appears to be made of felt.
From Rick's website (2004)...
"The slender leaf blade for this sword was hand forged from 1075 spring steel. Black leather covers the two handed grip and the fittings are textured steel."
The blade was darkened by Rick Barrett.
All the specs below were taken by me except the CoB, Cop and weight, those were done by Rick.

There is a darker spot in the center on one side of the blade as can be seen in two of the pics below. I believe the spot was caused by a person who I let look at the sword who may have touched the blade there. Not sure though. Cleaning the blade with a soft cloth with both Metal Glo and Break Free did nothing to remove the spot or lighten any other part of the blade for that matter.
The weight and balance of this blade are exquisite.
The only reason I'm selling it is that I just got a Filmswords Conan Destroyer Atlantean (I was one of the lucky ones who got on the cancellation list shortly after 10/31/07) and I spent more money than I could readily afford on it (I'm not giving up the Atlantean... no how... no way)
The original price of this sword was $1900. I'm asking for $1500.
