Hehe, I was just kidding, hence the wink ;) I was insinuating that the reason he might have gotten one early due to a used return, just kidding of course.
In fact, the first Albion sword I received was this past Wednesdaym the Brescia Spadona... I had only ordered it about 10 days ago... Apparently the person who ordered it changed his mind or didn't have the cash, so I was next in line... Probably the same case with the Baron... |
I haven't noticed the wink smiley. :)

Hello Simon!
Did your Baron have a black grip?
Regards
Stephan |
No, I had asked for a brown grip (although I think I'd love it just as much with a black one). Again, I cannot confirm that it does have a brown grip, as I have not seen it yet (only one more week to wait until I do !) but I trust Albion on this one, as far as I've read it's not exactly a company known for shoddy service (or sending second-hand swords for that matter ! ;) ).
Anyway, I think I can already thank Albion for this very good surprise !
(PS : may I enquire why do you ask about the grip colour ? Are the black-gripped ones delivered faster ? This would confirm my hypothesis about a pact with the Devil ! :p )

Well, I ordered an Baron with black grip i january and it was by misstake sent to the next customer in the wish list, about that time, so I didnt recieve any.
I didnt do much harm for me though, as I changed my order for a Munich (with black grip ) that was in stock.
It hangs on my wall since two weeks back. Its a very nice sword but I actually like my Senlac better I think.
Of course, its not certain that you will recieve that sword, but someone sure had a fast delivery of a sword out of stock at that week
Best Regards
Steffe

Well, unless they re-wrapped it, it is not "your" sword I recieved, because mine does have a brown grip...
More on that later in

Well, at long last I did contact Darksword, and they say my shipment is calculated to arrive to Sweden August 6th at the latest. Knowing that does offer some relief, I must say. :)
I also did get the tracking number. According to Canada Post, the package has left Canada at least. Huzzah!
