Congratulations, this is as close as one can come in the real world to owning a sword that actually was forged in Gondolin.

That is spectacular. Congratulations on getting it made. Really nice features and all of them executed to perfection by Peter. I think the choice of colour for the grip and scabbard is excellent, suiting the noble heritage of Orcrist.
I do not love the bright sword for its sharpness, but that which it protects. (Faramir, The Two Towers)

Fantastic! This is the best interpretation of a LOTR weapon that I've ever seen, and the fit and finish looks great! Very well done!

Now that is an Elven sword of war! Excellent realization of an idea.

Stunning!
That's as beautiful and exquisite as I hoped and expected it would be, given everything we have read and seen so far.
Many, many congratulations on an amazing commission.

Would you care to share any final specs about the sword, David? A report on handling, etc., would be very welcome.

That turned out great! Truly an impressive looking sword.
I second the request for some particulars about it as well as how it handles.

Wow lovely sword. That looks like an excellent version of the sword from the book. I was not super keen on the movie sword either as far it being akin to Glamdring. Great details in design and shape.

Thank you. THAT is an edhellen sword - no movie elven katanas here .
