Morro Bay Gathering
Ben Sweet and I are having our summer get together on June 21, and all are invited.
Bring some swords to show, both antiques and reproductions welcome!
It will be at the usual place: the Harbor Hut on the waterfront of Morro Bay.
We'll begin about 11:00AM, and we'll go home whenever.

It's going to be one nice motorcycle ride to Morro Bay! If anyone is coming down from the north and want to meet up p.m me, or if anyone is interested in car pooling down you can leave your car in my garage and we'll take my car ...you just can not be heart attack prone or have any weakness to flurries of motion sickness
Please take lots of pictures of beautiful baskethilts and any other swords that are present.
ElJay! Thanks for lunch! Here is the record for next year, it's my turn to buy so we both can remember...

I think I like it foggy and a bit cooler alot better...

With this being our 5th meeting I have now racked up 1265 miles of driving from home to Morro Bay and back

So next year I think we'll be planning on having our yearly sword meet at the Monterey Scottish games in Torro Park which is between Monterey and Salinas, Ca...mark your calendars you have now plenty of time to set the date to be there!

I now remember what it feels like when one was a kid who had seen his most favorite G.I Joe at the toy store and left empty handed :p I'm just surprised I did not drool all over myself fondling that beauty you made...

sorry everyone I forgot to take my camera and all of them are broken anyways....

Hi Benm
Thanks for posting some photos of the antiques we got to examine during our meeting!

Next year we'll hold our annual get-together in Salinas, as you suggested. Maybe we'll even get some of the Bay area people to attend if we're an hour or so closer to them.

A sword meet at the Monterey Scottish games next year should be pretty cool, just gotta get the Wicked Tinkers back this time....Some amazing swords I took photos of... so how much history was there?

Ben, I like the sword in the 5th picture. Its curved blade looks impressive.
