For Sale: This is the old style MRL Chapel de Fer. 17ga steel. Underside is painted black (by manufacturer) to prevent rust. Comes with leather liner and chin strap. Just needs to be dusted. Good for 13-15th century. Made to fit a 25 inch circumference (or a touch bigger). I can wear it with a padded coif, but don't think most people would be able to wear it with both padding and mail.
