For Sale: A pair of early 20th century Filipino talibons

God I really hate to do this, but my truck broke and I need a new engine.

I have to sell my two talibons that I recently picked up. I want to sell these as a pair because they both came from a WWII veteran and as you can see from the one picture, the tag he had to fill out to ship them home still remains for the one. PVT Staenberg was in a military police platoon near the end of the war and I am unsure of the circumstances of how he acquired these. They are not tourist souvenirs. The smaller of the two has a chunk of wood out of the back of the sheath and neither of the two sheaths are tied together anymore by cord. I used some string in order to keep them in one piece.

I am asking $300 for the pair. I will provide shipping and insurance in the US, but overseas will have to pay $20.

Any questions, feel free to ask.

Mike
