Hey, me again with another question about my handmade AFB. I was wondering If there are any advantages that Dacron bowstring give you over Sinew bowstring or vise-versa (I think that's how you spell it)[/list]

Not an expert on bowstrings by any means but in reading the Bowyers Bible they say that Sinew is not a good bow string material. It has many other uses but being a bowstring really isn't the best use for it. It'll work its just not optimal.

Dacron lasts longer with less maintenance--it's a lot less prone to damp and rot. So, unless you're reproducing an antique bow specifically said to have used a sinew bowstring, you could do a lot worse than use Dacron.
