Dating from 11th – 12th Century. The original was found during the early 20th century in the river Ouse near Cawood Castle, South of York. The sword was displayed at the Tower of London for many years, until it was auctioned during the 50’s at Sotheby’s.
Does anyone know a sword the fits the description? The only Viking sword I know that was found in the Ouse was the Cawood.
Hmmm. This looks quite a bit like a reproduction of Records XII.14. Darksword could have gotten something wrong in their description. Here is a photo of the sword. Eh, I could be wrong too.....

From what I can tell, Darksword Armoury have a pretty liberal approach to the designs of at least some of their products. They seem to produce excellent swords otherwise, but I wouldn't really call them exact replicas.The sword is an ode to the strife of mankind.
