Customized Albion Brescia Spadona prototype for sale.
The Brescia prototype which was shown in this thread: http://www.myArmoury.com/talk/viewtopic.php?t...highlight= is for sale. Stats and pictures are in that thread.

EDIT: Just wanted to give a fair heads-up: The blade is still in like new condition, but I did give it another inspection after posting and on the guard, in the right light, you can see a couple fingerprint marks. The blade, guard, and pommel have been kept regularly treated with BreakFree CLP, but it looks like these snuck through. Again, they're very minor and have to be in the right light, I just want the buyer to be 100% aware of what they're getting. I'll see tonight if these will just rub out.

I hate letting go of this one and want to insure everyone that it has nothing to do with the blade's quality. However, I'll be attending Rick Barrett's Japanese Sword Seminar (for more info, see http://www.barrettcustomknives.com/news.htm ), and am planning to purchase the blade I work on and get it polished and mounted, so that's gonna be a decent chunk of change that I need to pad as much as possible. The reason I'm selling this sword is because I have a somewhat similar custom blade that has been in the works the past 9 months that I'll be picking up this weekend.

Asking price is $450, which includes shipping and insurance in the 48 Continental U.S.A. States. If you're close to the area (I'm in Central Illinois) and want to pick up the blade (which, to be honest, would be preferred), the price would of course drop.

Also, I'm going to go ahead and repost a custom knive by Chuck Hawes which was originally posted for sale but didn't receive any bites. Stats and picture links are in the previous thread located here: http://www.barrettcustomknives.com/news.htm . This is truly an excellent knife, but again, I also have a custom dagger on the way so I need to make some sacrifices to pull off the kat. Asking price is $175 which, again, includes shipping to the 48 continental US states. If anyone would by chance be interested in buying both, they could be packaged for $575, also including shipping.

Sorry for the poor picture quality on both of these items, and thanks for looking! Any questions or comments, please feel free to reply, PM, or email me at jsteimel1981@hotmail.com.

Thanks, and take care.

If the Spadona still looks as good as your pics, I'll be glad to hang it on my wall.
Brescia prototype is sold pending payment.

Custom knife by Chuck Hawes is still available.
Here is a link to the old thread on the knife. http://www.myArmoury.com/talk/viewtopic.php?t=975 It looks like the other link you posted is to Rick's site. :D

If I had the extra - I would grab this!! Pattern weld for that price is very reasonable :!: :\
Thank you for the link correction Michael, I didn't realize I pasted the same link twice. It honestly is a very beautiful knife, and an absurdly wicked cutter as well. I hope people don't mistake the quality given the price it's being sold at -- it's far, far below Chuck's original asking price.

But I've also been putting a lot of money into getting my own forge set up (the forge is built and will be going out on my parent's farm for now, but I still need to get a lot of tools) and attending the seminar. If I want to pursue this dream, I've got to loosen the belt. ;)

Take care,
-JS
