My neighbor recently found a knife stuck in the ground out in the woods. It looks to be late 1800's to early 1900's. It was left in the ground so long that the pit marks on the blade have nearly destroyed the logo. It had a handmade handle on it made form some sort of red layered paper. It is about 12-14 inches long and appears to be a butchers knife. The logo has a pit-marked space cutting off half of it while the other half says WHITE. I'll post a pic if I can find our digital camera. I'm pretty sure that my sister took off with it, so no garentees.
we have come for my precious!
