After studying several more originals i decided to make another Ahlpeiss with a more generic design following the appearance of the most beautiful 15th cen originals.
This one has shaped sheetmetal forge-welded to the spike thats curved into a socket and forge-welded together along one side. Like in many originals the rondel is not permanently attached but forced on, into a slot, removable upwards but fixed from movement down.
Length 230cm
Weight 2,1kg.

it that is the only truth.
