Thank you for posting these videos. I share the sentiment of several others in that I think people behave very differently in a fight when they know that a hit means that they just go to the end of the line to await their next turn. It might be interesting to have a match with a single-hit elimination rule: One hit and you're out for good. This might encourage more caution and probing / testing for weaknesses / patterns of behavior.

It's easy to play the armchair swordsman, but it looked to me like there was a fair amount of telegraphing of movement on the part of your opponents. I thought you did well in this regard. I suspect that many young fighters, having watched Hollywood swordplay, make attacks at their opponent's weapon without regard for their own defense or even how they will follow up with the attack.
Today was Clinton of Stoccata's last day in Hong Kong, and the first day Travis from New York (kendo and fencing background). I just finished my lunch when they arrived and I almost threw out from the first sparring with Travis. :P

Here I was trying to put German longsword techniques into application when freeplay with a Taiwan Chinese Martial Artist with Miao Dao background. Whenever I was hit, I signal the opponent about where it was, so it is easy to tell who was hit. (eg. When I didn't signal, it was my friend)
