Okay. For those of you that are going to the Atlanta Blade Show, I thought it might be nice to arrange a meeting time and place. Any suggestions?
I'm thinking Friday at 2pm. That gives most of you plenty of time to do your thing early on. Many of us will probably have already met by that time, so there's also the option of meeting for lunch or later at the bar for some drinks.
Anyway. Pipe in.
Suggestions?

Friday at 2 pm sounds fine, say, at the Albion booth? Since alot us will be spending considerable time there anyway.
BTW does anyone know for sure if MRL will be there? They were not on the original list of vendors that I have.
Can't wait to get there, in much need of this vacation.

Friday at 2:00 pm is when the show officially open to the general public. Those of us lucky enough to have bought, borrowed or stolen a VIP pass get in a noon, and still others (with exhibitors pass) get in earlier than that. I'm guessing most people would be in the general public category, which means being subjected to chaos at around 2:00 pm.
Last year, Ron Luciano and I were lucky to get VIP passes so we arranged to meet around 11:00 am for coffee and then quickly got in line (Yup even VIP pass holders had to wait in line).
I'm thinking earlier OR later than 2 pm may work better. And perhaps some way of recognizing each other, an orchid behind the left ear or something like that.
I'll be mostly schlepping around Vince Evans's table. Look for a short Asian guy with the rugged good looks of a matinee Idol. Yeah, I said that with a straight face; wanna make something of it?

4 pm is good also. I shouldn't be hard to spot, just look for a 6'-1", long-haired chap with pointy side burns and a psychotic ear to ear grin on his face.

Hope everyone is well! I will be there Friday morning. Will leave NC EARLY Friday morning. IE 2:00AM. May need downtime, or just make sure I am sitting up straight. Steve, my brother of Turcael, look forward to seeing you again. Mac, I will keep my fingers crossed you are there this year! Nathan, your idea sounds great! I am all for it, and look forward to meeting old friends and new!
Best regards,
Ron

Unfortunately I will arrive late Friday, probably 10-ish, hopefully before midnight. I juggled work around but a friend who is coming along could not free himslef up as well. The plan is to get checked in, sleep, and get to the show early Saturday since there are so many things going on that day.

Mac,
It's great to hear you'll be able to make it. Always wanted to meet someone who owns more Evans pieces than I do. Just one thing, how will we recognize you if you are not in your full Scottish regalia?
Ron,
Greetings to you, too, my Brother of Turcael. I also look forward to seeing you again. Good fun.
To All,
Friday, 4 pm at Albion booth it is. Now I can't remember, did we or did we not agree on the orchid behind the left ear as the sign of myArmoury.com???
