Why is this all happening to me? I am paying off an Arms & Armor "German Rapier" for my wife, just bought her the matching parrying dagger at Kult of Athena in early November. Then I go over to Kult of Athena today and the following Albions came into stock: Reeve, Knight, Gladdgatt, Stamford, Discerner, Berserkr (I have it already), Vassal is still there too, I have that. But I practically drooled over the Reeve and Stamford today, but I am focused on the Valkyrja. Now, Craig has to come out with the 1580 Dagger, which is one of my very favorite daggers that Arms & Armor makes and my wife loves it too! She has the Elector of Saxony Dagger with ornate scabbard and the German Parrying dagger and I know how much she likes this dagger and so do I, in fact I almost bought this dagger a few times at the Bristol Renaissance Faire.
I really like the hilt on this dagger, the way the crossguard angles upward so as to trap the opponents blade between the dagger blade and the crossguard would be my reasoning. The pommel on this dagger is really nice too!
As bad as I want to buy this dagger I have to take a pass! Darn it anyways!
Anyone who wants an especially nice dagger, this is it right here!
