Attached is a picture from "German Medieval Armies 1300-1500 (Men-at-Arms)" from Osprey.
Picture text: "Based on a figure carved in the choir of Bamberg Cathedral, this warrior carries a breastplate fixed externally to his coat-of-plates."
This is the only info about the breastplate/coat of plates? .
Can anybody help me out with timeperiod? My fast and really unqualified guess is ~1350, but I would like some more backup here. Any other historical sources would be nice!
But maybe, most of all, does anybody know anyone who can make this one? (rather cheap?) Patterns are also welcome!

The image is similar to the below depiction that I recently found on the wikimedia area. And I'm curious about this pic as well.
The source for this pic is listed as:
Wendelin Boeheim. Handbuch der Waffenkunde. Das Waffenwesen in seiner historischen Entwicklung vom Beginn des Mittelalters bis zum Ende des 18 Jahrhunders, Leipzig 1890

On onme of these forums I am on someone went there and got pictures but I cannot find them online or my computer. If I remember right it is a carving in stone and clearly shows the somewhat oval plate on the outside so. If I find them I will post them but I have looked for days since I saw this without finding them...
