for a little while now I have been looking at getting my first real sword (those things I got in college don't count) and I my eye has fallen on the AT 1502. But I wanted to see what people had to say about it first, and since I couldn't find a review here I am.

Any help is appreciated, specifically with this sword or about the whole first sword thing. Thanks,

Carl

some chatter about the 1502 here;
http://forums.swordforum.com/showthread.php?t...ht=at+1502

I have a 1502 i bought secondhand. My background is JSA/Katana's but i find it a joy to handle. It feels light for a 30ish blade (never actually weighed mine), quite comfortable for a Hobbit like me (i'm 5'6") with one or two hands. Not the flashiest looking sword but more than makes up for it with its handling.
