This is one of those wonderful Italian books that is full of crisp photographs (most black & white) of mediaeval and reanaissance edged weapons.

The book is ~ 460 pages and contains ~750+ photographs and many drawings.

Although the text is in Italian, the craftsman readily find dimensions associated with the weapons (to go along with the photograph reference material).

This is an incomparable work for either the student of edged weapons or the craftsman who want a ready reference for historic detail or creative ideas.

The book arrived safe and sound today. David was thoroughly a pleasure to deal with. While he's fairly new to this website, he's been a member of the online collecting community for longer than I have.

I only wish I had more money to buy his other items. He's selling some of the rarest gems on the subject for prices lower than I've probably ever seen.
