I am a heat treater and the company I work for does much work for both custom as well as commercial knife makers.I am interested in buying a sword but wish to only spend around $500.00 for one as i am new to this hobby.I am primarily intrested in a sword of viking design. My main criteria in buying one are;quality, historical accuracy and actual usability. In short, getting the most bang for my buck.As I am new to this hobby I am unsure of what to look for, what to keep away from etc.Anyone out there with any suggestions, advice or just general guidlines on this subject feel free to let me know as it will be much appreciated!
