This sword is in PERFECT conditon and has been well maintained..... Im the second owner i Beleive.....
This is a deltin blade, but this is back when MRL was hilting them....... yeh THATS been a LOONNG time...
These swords are really impossible to find because the current version is made entirely by Del Tin and has the "S" Curved guard whereas this one is straight.......again this is the correct sword that was used in Highlander The Series by Graham Ashe and later by Richie Ryan.

How stiff is the blade on this? The reason I ask is that at one point I ordered this model from MRL (when it was being made by Windlass Steelcrafts) and the blade was very thin and whippy. I ended up sending it back to them. I do love the design of the hilt though. Is there any way you could measure the thickness?

I dont have any micrometers at my house, all my tools are packed away now........

it DOES flex however its alot stiffer than current MRL offerings....... id say at the base its about as thick as any ATrim i have..... it just doesnt have as much distal taper...
