Greetings,
My name is Jayjung Lee, and I am currently attending high school in South Korea.
I'm glad to join this terrific site and share opinions and information about medieval arsenals.
I posted this thread to ask a trivial question about Norman archery. According to an internet article written by Ben Levick(http://www.regia.org/SaxonArchery.htm), a composite bow of horn was found in the grave in a place called Birka.
Does anyone know about any academic sources(Books, thesis, journals, etc.) that deal about this finding specifically?
(The article also mentioned some yew longbow of Norman graves. I wonder whether these findings are also mentioned in "The Great Warbow" by Robert hardy.)
