I'm trying to raise money to compliment my personal collection with an Albion Caithness....or the Claymore that Howy is promising. So...much to my dislike, I must part with something. I built this piece by hand, with no particular theme in mind. The blade is kris-style...serpentine...and perfecly symetrical. About 18 inches in length, it is fully tempered and double edged with a 'sword-edge', not a fully sharp knifes edge. The tang of the blade goes nearly halfway through the antiqued knotty wood handle and is pinned and epoxied in place. The handle is as long as the blade, and is studded randomly with brass tacks everywhere a branch came off the limb that was used. All in all, a kind of creepy look to this piece....like maybe something an Orc would use to skewer a helpless Hobbitt for dinner. I'm asking $350, but the price is somewhat negotiable. I will send photos to anyone interested. email :chubmonkey75494@yahoo.com
