Hi folks :)
This is a late 2002 design. Something to have in the car.
The blade is a hira-zukuri. Not looking for beauty here, but for efficiency.
Just a Long-knife
I had to call it tactical to distinguish from another one for a customer which I designed with a saber handle.

Looks to be a very nice utilitarian design Mr. Cejunior! But for some reason the video wouldn't play for me.

Wow, Antonio, this is a sweet looking blade.. but beyond that, I love the way you present your designs. Do you provide these pages to the smiths before every project or are some made after the piece is already created?
I hadn't realized you were continuing to make new designs. It's nice to see this, even though you say it's from 2002, I hadn't seen it before.
I've moved this topic to the off-topic talk forum, as it's not really about historical arms and armour. One of these days, I'll be able to write up descriptions for each forum, etc, but we're all growing together and will have to sort of figure it out together as we go.
Oh yeah: the embedded video plays fine for me.

That's usually the way I work with smiths. I have been trying some new smiths for this design, but they kind of became a bit mute.
Actually a customer of mine is seeing an Eurosword I designed being finished by Glen Parell. I promised I would not post the design. Glen liked it and so did the customer :)
Fine for moving it to the Off-topic. We are all learning the way around, here. Not a problem at all :)

Well, I really like this form of presentation. It reminds me of many of the product design comps I've created over the years and have been exposed to in my everyday work. They're a lot of fun for me to see, too.. but more than that, I like comparing and contrasting it to the finished product. It's always nice to see how it's evolved/ been realized.

That's most kind. I seldom do things professionally myself. Just direct projects so I'm not that good at using computers :D
I'm kind of proto-historic, pre-computer age fella. :lol:
However most things came out just as expected.
Katsujin-ken its a good example

This one is definitely the most expensive blade in my collection. Would not carry it in a car, would not go to Matrix.
I wouldn't mind designing a blade for Matrix, but this one is contemporary-traditional, if you know what I mean :)
And its forge folded and with pure silver fittings.
