Does anyone know of the Kligenthal cavalry sword, early 19th C, I think. Is it real or just part of the story in "Sharpes Sword" by Bernard Cornwell, at the time of the Pennisular War with Napolean.

Cornwell misspelled it, actually (I've read the book too). Klingenthal--with another n--was the location of the workshop where many French cavalry blades were made.
