As someone who does a fair bit of rebated steel combat, I would strongly suggest your very next armour purchase be a gorget or mail standard. Neck protection is one of most important harness items, probably right after the helmet. Things can go horribly wrong when swinging steel, even in choreographed sessions. Get something on your neck.

Cheers!

Well for me it is not my first armour..I fight for over 4 years and I have a neck protection  My friend will have it too.The pictures were taken just after charity festival where there were no need of using standards-there were no fights.I agree that it is one of the most important protection.

Torsten,

I would like to say I got the pictures of the full suit during my holiday but alas.... some of the pieces were missing. I could not find the fauld nor the back plate. I found the arms but the inside plates had been removed to be repaired and I ran out of time. I did get some pictures of some of the individual parts though (more or less). Some had some rust stains from years of storage sin care (I moved and can not afford to bring it over with me). Needless to say my vacation home I spend many hours derusting my gear. I was to the point of blackening it all but lost my nerve (and ran out of time).
