So far it is between the AT1415, and the AT1562
It says that swapping pommels is not available, but if I asked real nice do you think I could get the 1415 with a stopper pommel? |
Is not a standard practice anymore, and there's only two beakbreakers that'll work on it, but you can tell Josh the Auld Dawg says its ok this time.......

The only people who can really answer that would be Gus and Josh. E-Mail Josh and ask, the worst he can say is no.

PS a couple photos of the 1562 with a redone hilt |
That's it! Its exactly what I am looking for!

Thanks, I emailed Josh and will keep my fingers crossed.....but I still can't take my eyes off the pics of James' 1562, so I asked if there is anyway to get that model with a bowtie cross.
Thanks for all the advice.....now for my next sword....I was thinking about one of those Viking swords, but thats something for another day :)

Well, I heard back from Josh, and I have decided to go with the 1562 with the bowtie cross. He said they should be in stock this week.
I swear I spent more time picking out a sword than I did for my last car!

Well, I'm glad I stopped by tonite and saw this. The blade Josh was referring to is finished, I Just need to mount it. And now, I know it needs the bowtie instead of the spike....

Congratulations
Good choice ken, I REALLY think you will love this sword. Unfortunately my time with her(the 1562) is done, as she was bought by a close friend and training partner. The only consolation is that I will be able to still cut with her when we have our cutting parties. Congratulations again on your first purchase, I have a sneaking suspicion it will not be your last.

(Misses the 1562 already)

James,
I hope I have as much fun with it as you did.
The order is placed! The sword is costing a bit more than the stated price, as I bribed my wife my having one of her Christensen lithographs custom framed (its been sitting in the closet next to my wall hangers) ....So guess I can say I have an $850 sword now!
Make sure you ask Josh for your commission ;)

LOl Ken, I'll get right on that contract discussion :D Congrats again, I know who has the prettier wall decoration between you and your wife, and it's not canvas based!
