That is a substancial jack to be sure. 7 ounce linen, 24 layers. Got it. I will see if I cannot make some up and try it with various thicknesses and materials and at various distances and see how we do. Maybe we could film it and show it here.

Nice work. That is never going to be easy. Hope your hands recovered. I got a blister about an inch across and 3/4 wide from the awl last time I was trying to get to 30 layers. I stopped. Its still unfinished. Too much going on.
