Dear friends,

Last year in May I gave a lecture on my research and book at MIT and I had a chance to visit this wonderful museum. Attached you will find some examples there. Look at this Ankus (elephant goad) from India. It is truly a magnificent piece.

You are very welcome Adam. I will surely post a lot of pictures from different museums across the world as I am often invited to give lectures or inspect some swords in museums collections. I will galdly share all these information with my friends here. Thank you for your interest and support.

The next bronze sword is from Luristan. Similar examples are exhibited in the National Museum of Iran in Tehran.

The next sword is Chinese from late E. Chou Dynasty. That is made of bronze and inlaid with gold. A magnificent piece.
