The sword looks great, Gus. I especially like the contrast between the blackened/blued fittings and the red leather of the grip.

Hmm, nice sword. Looks like a nice tatami-eater. How long it is actually ? I'm having a bit of difficulty to figure out the proportions from here (maybe its just too late and I need to sleep)...
I like the subtle transition between the cutting portion of the blade and the ricasso.

The blade is 36 and change. Unless FedEx somehow manages to lop a few inches off of it while it's on the way.

I just got the sword.
Angus Trim is a great sword maker, but a bad photographer. This sword is beautiful! I will post a pic soon.
This sword exemplifies all the things that made me fall in love with Angus Trim swords in the first place. I feel like the first time I opened a box from Christian Fletcher and found a gorgeous 1563 inside....like a kid on Christmas morning.
Time to go play...

That looks great and I look forward to getting my CF with the 1435 blade even more. 
If that is the type six strait guard mine should look similar but with a more waisted faceted grip and mine is also going to have an antiqued furniture.
Good photography also showing off the quality of the blade bevels more clearly.
You can easily give up your freedom. You have to fight hard to get it back!
